01/25/10 - ok...sorry it has taken me a while to update this page. Things are going well. We should be hearing from the TABC soon. We hope to have the brewery cleaned, painted and ready for some equipment by end of February/March.
We were at the Texas Tequila Throwdown on January 23 at Coffee Groundz. It was hosted by Mike Cortez from BiteMe Houston. We had a great time, met a lot of people and got the word out about No Label. I will post some pictures of the event soon.
We are going to start looking for someone to redo our website and make it a little easier to udate it. If you are interested, send us an email.
Thats all for now.
Cheers,
Brian
12/3/09 - Well, the Beer Wars event at the Alamo Draft house got cancelled. Hopefully we will be able to do something with Alamo soon. We are still cleaning and painting...I have added a few more pictures of the facility. I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!

11/23/09 – We have signed the lease on one of the Rice Silos in old Katy, TX. As soon as I can get the history of the silos we are in, I will post it to the web.
Most of our time is focused on cleaning the place and getting it up to code. It will be a lot of work but I am looking forward to the challenge. First and foremost is cleaning it!
We have our first mascot…Oliver the Owl! He lives in the huge room on top of the silos...we found him exploring the place. Ask Jennifer about Oliver, the story gets better every time.
Anyway, we added a few more pictures of the silos to the website. (even added a cool little slideshow with my mad ninja web making skills). I don’t have any of Oliver…he stole my camera and beat me on the head with it when I tried to take his picture. I guess he didn’t want his picture taken. As soon as I get enough courage to go exploring again, I will take a few pictures of him. Maybe I can bribe him with a juicy rat.
Like I said, we will be cleaning the place and getting it up to code. On December 5, 2009 we will be at the Alamo Draft House on Mason Rd for the showing of Beer Wars. We will be the guest speaker after the movie. We will not have any beer there but Alamo has a fabulous selection of craft beers. If you are interested, please visit their website. www.drafthouse.com
That's all for now! Happy Thanksgiving!
Cheers,
Brian
10/05/09 - We are closer to securing the lease for the Rice Silos in old Katy,TX. We are working with the insurance company and hope to have something finalized in a couple of weeks.
No Label was at the UHvsTech game. I attached some photos of the tailgate. We had four beers on tap, El Hefe (hefeweizen), Pale Horse (pale ale), Royo Rye Ale (rye ale), and Silo Ale (blonde ale). Everyone had a great time and the beer was a huge success...and the coogs won!
We are having a tasting party on October 10, 2009 at 2:00pm. If you would like to attend please shoot us an email.
Next event after the tasting party will be the UHvsSMU game on October 24, 2009.
Come to find out, Lone Pint Brewery has a beer called El Hefe as well...DOH! We will be changing the name of our hefeweizen to something else...not sure what yet.
Cheers,
Brian
9/15/09 - It's been awhile since the last post...I apologize.
A few things have changed. We are currently negotiating a lease agreement to lease space in the old rice silos in old Katy. The silos are a little spooky but I think it will make a great place for brewery. A lot of work will be needed to get the place up and running. We will get some pictures of the space posted soon.
I think we have settled on our logo. As soon as we get it finalized I will post it to the website.
Our event calendar has changed. We will be at every UH home game but we will not be serving our beer at every game. We will only have beer at the Tech, Southern Miss, and Rice games. We will be at the TKE alumni tailgate area.
Our next tasting party will be October 10th, 2009 at our house. We will have 3-4 beers to sample. If you want to attend please send us an email and we will send you an evite.
Thats it for now...I will keep the website updated with the progress of our silo space.
Cheers,
Brian
P.S. - Sorry for any grammatical or spelling errors. My background is construction and now beer, not english.
